Family Services is at the core of HFH’s service model. Clinton Family Residence has a dedicated team who will work with residents to assist them in creating an individualized plan to move on to permanent housing. This includes a Director of Family Services, Case Managers who work one-on-one with each family, Client Care Coordinators (social workers) who provide more specialized assistance, trainings, and referrals, and housing specialists who focus on housing needs–from criteria for housing subsidies to apartment referrals.
This is where families can access an on-site food pantry or first-time parents can get help and resources. In addition, this team coordinates with other city agencies like the NYC Department of Education to ensure that children are attending school and have access to the supplies and transportation that they need to succeed.
